ReplyDeleteRe Gladwell - Blink is the only book that I like. His other works like Tipping Point and 2 others are really only mediocre IMO, coz the subjects are so stale. But "Blink" is refreshing! :-)

You know what MVW, D (who doesn't read LOL!) got a new one after I told him all the stories from the book, and gave it to his colleague (who loves to read). It's a xmas gift exchange program the company organizes every year. The sender is supposed to be anonymous. The person who received D's gift went around hunting down santa coz the book was just so good LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou should get it. But do you own research on the stories. The writer has great insights but he is not an expert in the areas that he touches on. He gets you thinking though, and that's always good :-)
Hey Jules, from the brief discussions on wiki I'm (slightly) familiar with themes discussed in the book. Tacit knowledge is such an interesting subject; I will definitely pick it up sooner rather than later.
